• Alliander shared previous community meeting about openSTEF 4.0 plans

  • Goal: increase flexibility of openSTEF

    • infra: improve support of different setups (notebook / standalone / larger system)

    • model: easier to adapt model/preprocessing to your usecase

  • How:

    • less focus on infra (openstef-dbc)

      • reference implementation → example implementation

    • more focus on data science (openstef)

      • more modular pipeline setup (feature engineering / preprocessing / model etc. as separete building blocks)

• Goal for Q2 is to review this plan with the community

  • including migration plan

    • suggestion Jan Maarten: try to keep interface the same

• Plan for Q3 is to start implementation
