GEISA does not specify the supporting network, but it does have certain minimum requirements:

  • Internet Protocol

    • GEISA nodes must support either a full IPv4 or IPv6 stack

    • GEISA applications must support both IPv4 and IPv6

  • 1200 byte functional MTU for GEISA applications

  • 100 kbps bandwidth per node

  • Policy Limits based on Network Communications Channel
