LinkedIn Channel
The channel for Digital Substation SIG is now launched
Commercial Offering
The goal is to provide a web platform on LF website to publish commercial offers related to LF projects.
There are currently 6 companies that have submitted their offer (Savoir-faire Linux, Aveva, RTE-International, Sprinteins, Welotec, Dianomic).
The website should be available by the end of the year.
The online application form is still opened for new vendors.
LFE project updates
SEAPATH
On track to deliver the first official version of SEAPATH by the end of the year
CoMPASS
Ecosystem is growing (German TSO…)
New release is planned to fix security issues.

Adoption of OpenSource for Digital Substation at RTE
Presentation from Maxime Pelletier from RTE.
Maxime went through the implementation of three projects within RTE.
SEAPATH
SEAPATH is used as a real-time hypervisor for 2 projects :
R#Space - Industrial project launched in 2017. Virtualization for non-critical applications (HMI and Gateway). First implementation done in 2023.
vPACS - R&D Project -> virtualization of critical functions such as Protections. The project will start in 2025 with a target system running in a lab by 2026
FledgePower
FledgePower is a multi-protocol translation gateway
Currently in use in several substations as a gateway to Transmission Control Center as well as Grid Asset Control Centers
After several PoC in 2023 and 2024, the industrial deployment is planned for 2025.
The purpose is to have the virtualised gateway running on SEAPATH.
CoMPAS
CoMPAS is an IEC61850 model configuration tool
Used in the context of new or refurbished substations, within R#Space project.
New tools to be released in 2025.
Maxime presented the different strategies with regards to CoMPAS, particularly in RTE or Alliander context.

It has been mentionned by Alex that cost sharing could be considered when several companies are participating to an event to promote LFEnergy projects.
