52th meeting (11 February 2026)
Participants meetings:
@Sander Jansen @Stefan Baumgartner Reza @Christian Ruopp @Jean-Etienne LEMAIRE
1-Review of previous TSC notes
51th meeting (10 December 2025)
TSC notes are accepted by the participants
2-Review of the growth plan actions
Any new plans? Let’s do a meetup in during the LF energy summit (if possible). LF energy will probably facilitate project meetups. Every body agrees that this a good way to meet. Bearingpoint is working on a CoMPAS presentation and discussing with other companies about the use of CoMPAS.
3- Look back at the CoMPAS presentation Distributech 2026
3 Hitachi guys did show up; similar to the presentation of @Bastien Desbos about Seapath.
@Stefan Baumgartner: Next meeting will suggest some changes e.g. copy dataset is missing and performance issues. @Sander Jansen pointed out that coping report blocks is already possible:
The story to build this could be inspiration to make a copy function in the dataset domain. Suggestion is to create new github issue so anyone can pick it up.
@Jean-Etienne LEMAIRE has big example files for testing. He will share them on github or confluence for testing by others (e.g. the filtering capacity).
Schema validator is sometimes troublesome in big files, suggestion would be to disable the automatic schema validation. 61850-6-3 (OCL rules) is under investigation by @Stefan Baumgartner
3-Status of contributions

January is over, what is the plan to commit the webinar functionality? What is needed to make it happen?

From @David Monichi I mirrored a while ago the TransnetBW Plugins from

GitHub - com-pas/compas-transnetbw-plugins: CoMPAS related OpenSCD features for TransnetBW . We can present it next week in the development sync if you want.
From time to time we would update it. The current plugins are not connected to the backend. We would like to discuss it with you guys if using the current SCL-Endpoints is reasonable or introduce new endpoints for storing domain specific data to the backend.
@Sander Jansen invited to CoMPAS TSC members over to discuss open source in general, CoMPAS and SDS in the Alliander office. @Sander Jansen will schedule and hold a separate meeting with Christian (and REZA) to discuss template editor, engineering process, and use of power system relations within SCL/CD files.

Retrospective of the CoMPAS development went well, questionnaire send to prioritize.
6-Architecture
In order to get to the early adoption stage, we need to have an assurance case.
This is the assurance case of PowerGridModel:
.github/SECURITY.md at main · PowerGridModel/.github
GXF:
LF energy might work on a threat model. We got approval from @John Mertic to be the first project to get help with the security threat model analysis. This will take minimal 1 hour and follow-up questions.
