20230821 CoMPAS Community Refinement

Aliou: Email last Friday. Feedback meeting with John Mertic. Ben joins. License email for the project. License scan. Sander says the current set up is OK. XSD files open source policy. Aliou contacts Boris. Sander says separated in different repo containing SCL files.

About the legal issues; The TSC decided to make an exception for the IEC license for the XSD. With the split in the repositories and clear notice should be enough.

Pascal: Has been mostly working upstream. Internal migrations. demo.compas.energy is currently having a transition. 

J.E.: Thinking about some feature. Wondering 2 choices. Private or open. Sander question: private …  For instance PAC world - input, internal process, demo environment 

Sander: Catching up last week. Investing a lot in the structural improvement of OpenSCD. Going to give a talk at IEC week, Amsterdam. Speaks about Digital Twin.

Ben: Lots of community work. Wednesday meeting with John, who will explain why it makes sense to be under the LF Energy umbrella. GE is not participating in CoMPAS currently. Sander mentions there might be some re-organisation. John will talk to GE. Ben expressed the intention to try to enlarge the CoMPAS community. Aliou says it will be very beneficial for the project.
